Jayne from Rickmansworth is now free of pain and able to walk up to ten thousand steps each day after having a life-changing PRP injection into both hips.
54-year-old Jayne started having severe back pain five years ago. She was diagnosed with a degenerative disease and was given steroid injections which did nothing to improve her condition. She was in pain 24 hours a day and her hips seemed to be getting worse and worse – they were too painful to touch and she had numbness in her thigh. She couldn’t do housework, make the bed or even do the shopping. Jayne could only manage sleeping for a maximum of an hour and a half and would have to sit up and turn 90 degrees to change position.
This was in stark contrast to five years previously when Jayne’s life was centred round exercise and she used to train three times a weeks with weighty tractor tyres.
